Hello, I don't know your health history but is it possible yo have some kind of health issue other than dental" Dentistry has learned that if a patient has say a cardiac (heart) issue or another issue like lung or kidney problems, a dental procedure such as dealing with a bad cavity, dealing with that cavity can cause bleeding and any infectious material released due to prepping the cavity can get into the blood stream and in some cases that can be fatal...To prevent that from happening they pre- medicate the patient prior to doing the dental procedure...such as giving them Antibiotics..
