I know that I need to go back to college, I have been out of high school for four years. I don't know exactly what I want to do. Im thinking RN or Dental Hygienist. My husband is in the NAVY and we have a baby, so I don't have much time. I can't keep putting it off, but I don't want to regret it either. I need some advice. Please Help!Health Question & Answer

I don't agree that hygienists make less than an RN. Being a hygienist, you can work part time or full time and can pretty much set your own hours in a lot of offices. In either case you have to really love what you are doing. Whatever you choose, don't put it off you won't be sorry.Health Question & Answer
Hello,Since you have a family to consider let me tell you this. (1)...From a financial standpoint, depending on the level you achieve, Nursing will provide the best income, but will require a far greater flexibility in your requirements to working hours...basically longer and will include nights and weekends....(2) If you go for the Hygienist degree you will have a bit less income, but the plus side for you as a family person is that your hours will be daytime only, no nights and no weekends.....Good luck and I wish you well.Health Question & Answer
My friend is a RN. He loves it. I think any field around the hospital is good $$$ and if you try it and you like it you are set. As long as you dont have a bad history you should fit in with no problems. Nurses live well.Health Question & Answer
