i had braces in the summer of grade 7, till christmas of grade 9, which wasn't bad at all. My sister had her braces around the same age as me and she really did not like them at all, so she would always ask her orthodontist to change the wires more often, and she got hers off within a year, and she was supposed to have them on for almost 3 years...yes she said it was a lot of pain but she said she would have rather had pain for a year, then pain for 3 years.Health Question & Answer

I am getting them on Thursday, only top.
Then in 3 months I'm getting the bottom.
& I have to have this weird metal bar on the roof of my mouth...

Right now I have spacers, & personally I don't mind them at all! I think I actually like them .? Haha.Health Question & Answer
