If i have tartar on the bottem front 2 of my teeth for over 6 months does that mean i have a bad cavity?!

No, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have cavities. Are you flossing.? It would help reduce it. However, different people are made different ways and some people get a lot of tarter and some don't get much at all in several years. Tarter isn't linked to cavities. Tarter is a hard build up on the surface of your teeth, while cavities are decay of the tooth. Tarter has to be removed with a scaler, it cannot be brushed off. no you prolly need to go to a dentist to get ur gum line clean.....oral health is very important and if you dont u could be at risk for peridontal diease which causes your teeth to fall out or have to be removed because of exceptional tarter and plaque build up that isnt completly removed when brushing......Health Question & Answer
