Is braces the only way to fix a gap in someones teeth?!
Question: Is braces the only way to fix a gap in someones teeth.?
or does that depend on the size of the gapHealth Question & Answer

No braces are not the only way to fix a gap and yes it does depend on the size of the gap. Bonding may not be an option if there is a large gap. It would fill in making the front tooth appearing too big and odd. Now days a lot of people are opting to slap some porcelain veneers on there. It's more natural looking. As for braces, I've seen those tiny torture devices create miracle smiles. And there are so many different types of treatment options with braces depending on your age, dental development and facial/skeletal structure.

Definitely not the only way. You could consider bonding, which builds up the teeth with so they meet. I think it's reasonably inexpensive to do, like between $100 and $300 per tooth.

Most of the time you will need braces or some kind of active appliance (done normally by an orthodontist as well) to close a "gap." Good luck.Health Question & Answer
