I went to the dentist today and i believe i got my braces tightened.? Not so sure but anyways i heard you can change the color of your braces once a month.

They dont ask you.? Mine did. Its up to you if you want to, i had all different colors, but you dont have to. If your into it, just ask, and theyll bring you a little tray displaying all the band colors you can choose.Health Question & Answer
Well if you have the braces with the "door"...u don't need colors. If you have the older braces you are suppose to get a color about every 6 weeks....after 6weeks the colors are worn out and do not serve their purpose. And you when you go for you appointments your braces don't get tighten....getting new colors will tighten the wire back into the bracket and that may feel like tightening....and sometimes you will get a new wire and that may cause pressure as well.Health Question & Answer
