During braces procedure?!

Question: During braces procedure.?
Would it be rude if i brought something into the procedure to amuse myself while the dentist puts on my braces.? or do i have to sit there really still and not do anything.?

I was just thinking if i should bring my MP3 player on the trip.
Thanks.Health Question & Answer

Just bring it and ask if the doctor minds! Some people listen to music to help keep them calm... so maybe he will be ok with it.
However, if your headphones are bulky they may be in the way.
And if you do wear them, you should run the wire up through your shirt, just to keep it out of the way.

I always liked greens and light blues. Orange was fun too. And I always got two colors for holidays... such as black and orange for Halloween and red and green for Christmas.
I did not have to pay extra... However, it probably depends on your insurance, or the offices own prices.
Oh and on a normal basis, you should stick to lighter colors. Dark blues and blacks make your mouth look weird. I didn't like it..

Good luck!

i think its best to just stay there cuz its gonna be uncomfortable with earbuds in while you have that plastic thing that keeps your mouth open and lips away. so... yes its rude and im sure the ortho would not allow it or like it. it might distract him or her. soo you dont want to get messed up while they put on braces. also i think green with red for xmas or black and orange for halloween or orange with brown for thanksgiving.Health Question & Answer

I would bring it in. Especially if you are just getting braces on, the procedure is usually long. But I'd ask the orthodontist if he minds. Usually they won't care. At the place I go to, they have gameboys there so the little kids can play. I'm sure they won't mind if you ask! :)Health Question & Answer
