Is having super huge canine teeth? normal or not?!

Question: Is having super huge canine teeth.? normal or not.?
I hav canine teeth, long sharp and pointy canine teeth... My mother's were worse than mine (you should see the pics! horror movie looking) so when she was older she had the points ground off... I'm considering that, but it looks odd because you can tell... I freak people out usually if I flash a full smile (it looks menacing!) so I half smile only showing my upper teeth and not exposing the long points of my teeth. So I guess my question is...
should I
grind my teeth down.?
other options.?
why does it freak people (I mean you could swear I was a vampire from their faces)

and part out me is suspicious because when I was younger my mom said I only ate meat (cooked super rare) until I was like 5 and because I always looked sick and my eyes sunk in, she didn't allow me to have meat until I was like 12 and then I couldn't stop eating meat...

yes I know this all sounds crazy and stupid and illogical but it bugs me everything fits. I mean seriously what else could it be.?.?.? Maybe Ive been watching to much TV but I swear it's freaky how many clues are in my house hinting at secretly being either a vampire or a werewolf or I dont know something not normal...

Answers:
I have long and very sharp canine teeth.
And because of them,i only smile with my mouth closed.
And i yawned this one time in the open, and the person sitting 1 table infront saw me yawning and saw them. And then he stod up as fast as he could and ran very fast XD
But im gonna keep mine, and maybe you should too.
There a part of you and i think grinding them down will be like grinding a piece of yourself.but thats my opinion....Health Question & Answer

KATO,
when the permanent adult canine teeth (which are much larger than baby canine teeth) have very pointy tips, the dentist can smooth these out so they appear more natural.
REST ASSURED YOU ARE NOT A VAMPIRE OR WEREWOLF, JUST SOMEONE WITH POINTY CANINES - NO BIG DEAL.Health Question & Answer

WELL,
#1- vampires and werewolves aren't real. they were a fig mint of someones imagination. go to a different DDS and tell him what change you'd like to have. a good dentist will know how to correct it.Health Question & Answer

I actually have very prominent canine teeth too. As a result, I rarely smile (at least fully) in front of some people or in certain situations. I'm not that self-conscious about it anymore, but I realise it probably isn't that attractive.

Most people tell me they never notice as they pick up on the 'whole package' as opposed to minor details, even though some of my more insecure friends have noticed and called me 'vampire' etc before in order to feel better about themselves.

The truth is, I'm a model. A runway model that is. So I very rarely have to smile! It's the only imperfection so to speak that I have. Basically, what I would say to you is that you already know you can have them filed down if you really wanted, the same way I know. You're not a vampire or a wolf or anything. Just as people with prominent front teeth aren't rabbits and those with no teeth at all aren't turtles and tortoises!

I might get mine done if I feel like it in future, my advice to you would be do what you want. The choice is yours all the way.Health Question & Answer
