Question: Related to braces what do spacers look like in your mouth.?
I am getting braces and i would like you guys to tell me about braces and spacers cuz i have to get those to. all answers welcomed :)Health Question & Answer

Okay, I got my spacers in Thursday and get my braces October 9. Spacers are little blue rubber bands that the orthodontist puts between your molars to make space for your braces and other stuff you need. People can't really see them unless you show them. I got 8 spacers and they didn't hurt when they got put on. But, after a few hours and into the next day with them on they hurt so bad! Today they don't hurt unless I eat. Try chewing with your tongue or front teeth (I know it sounds kinda weird and hard to do, but that's what I have to do.). You won't really realize they are in until you eat. They make your teeth really really loose (at least mine are), and I recommend Advil, Advil Liqui-Gels, or some kind of Ibuprofen. Tylenol doesn't work as good, my orthodontist told me it's not as good for those kinds of pains. Hope I helped. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

it feels like there is a hunk of steak stuck in there.
when i had them, my teeth moved fast and the spacers fell out before i had to go back to the orthodontist. if that happens they will probably tell you to put it back in.
you cant see the spacers cause they are in the molars.
braces arent as bad as some people say.
they will hurt bad the day after you get them.
but after a couple weeks you wont remember they are there.

No one can see the spacers. They're put between tight teeth to make room for the aparatus that goes around each back tooth. Health Question & Answer
