Question: Recovery of Wisdom Teeth Removal.?
Tomorrow morning I am getting my wisdom teeth removed. All 4 at the same time. Im really nervous about it, and I was wondering if anyone else here had to deal with this too. Were you in alot of pain after, was there alot of swelling, bruising, etc.?Health Question & Answer

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I slept for the majority of the day afterwords and yes you will be a little sore. Make sure you have lots of liquids on hand (things like pudding or smoothies too) because you will not be able to eat solid foods for about 3 or 4 days.
Perhaps the worst part about recovery is having to have cotton in your mouth to soak up the blood. It just feels a bit uncomfortable. Make sure to keep your gums really clean (you will get instructions) because i had a piece of food get stuck in the opening and it proceeded to become infected.
They usually give you something to deal with the pain such as Vicodin. It's really not a big deal, not really a lot of swelling or bruising. I was not in a lot of pain and was up the next day doing things completely normally (besides my liquid diet).
