Wisdom tooth removal aftermath?!

Question: Wisdom tooth removal aftermath.?
hello everyone! i had one of my wisdom teeth extracted on friday (9/26/08), and everythings been going on pretty well. since its been 2 days since the surgery, ive taken eating to the next level, trying out noodles with soup. after eating and then rinsing, i noticed something white covering around (and maybe ON) the wound. i cant rinse it off, and it doesnt hurt or itch or anything. just want to know if its noodles, or something natural, like maybe puss or something, associated to the healing process. thanks!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
if it is not paining do not worry just keep on doing warm saline rinses after the meals, it will take care of every thing. this is normal healing process, do not try to remove it forcefully. for more imformation on the denta topics you can visit the following link

Oh, that doesn't sound good at all. Congrats on getting through the painful part of the recovery but, this could be nothing or something. It was smart of you to take notice of this. Call up the dentist and just ask if you can pop in to make sure everythings healing alright. It may be nothing; it may be something. Better safe than sorry. It could be an infection.Health Question & Answer

That is the scab. It's white because it's moist with saliva.

Nothing to worry about.Health Question & Answer
