How likely is it that you will have your own teeth by the age of 80?!
Question: How likely is it that you will have your own teeth by the age of 80.?
Answers:
Extremely likely if one follows all the oral hygiene regimen. Some our our patients who are half that age, have lost many teeth due to poor oral hygiene. Just because a person gets old, doesn't mean their teeth fall out!!!!!Health Question & Answer
It depends on a lot of factors. Health of teeth and gums, the length of the root system, and heredity are some of the factors that play into how long you can keep your teeth. My dentist said that, due to the length of my dental roots, I will most likely be able to keep mine for life, and even though I'm having severe dental problems (dad's family has great teeth...mom's family all had theirs removed because of severe hereditary infections in their 20's...I'm in the middle...great roots with lousy teeth and gums), it's easier and less painful to fix them. Due to the locations of the ends of my roots, the dentist said I could possibly even be forced to face reconstructive surgery because removal will cause a lot of facial structure damage.
In other words, sometimes keeping your own teeth all your life isn't such a great thing!Health Question & Answer

depends on how well you take care of them. floss after meals brush with salt and a tad of baking soda cut down on sugars and stress and most important keep your body alkaline. you should be fine. (the stress helps make you acidic) oh lots of veggies raw and fruit. enjoy.;o)Health Question & Answer
