my appt was at 2(they were finished by 330) my mouth is still bleeding im very hungry and havent ate anything do i take the gauzes out while i eat and sleep.? when will the bleeding stop.? thanks for any adviceHealth Question & Answer

Keep the gauze in while sleeping but you can take it out to eat and replace with fresh gauze. Keep pressure on it and that will help to stop the bleeding. Do not drink from a straw, no spicy foods , no rinsing, sllep with an extra pillow as well.Oh and eat soft foods for a day or two.Health Question & Answer

You should only have the gauze in for an hour or too, biting down in it hard.

if your hungry, eat ice cream or pudding, or somthing like that, and take the guaze out. its okay to sleep in it if your still bleeding.. but bleeding should only last a couple hours..make sure your drinking alot of waterHealth Question & Answer
