hes only 3 and this hasnt happened before.
should i call the dentist or the dr. or should we just wait and see if it heals on its own. i didnt know it was there until he told me his lip hurt and i saw it.

If you get him to hold some warm salt water in his mouth then spit it out, then I wouldnt do anything. Salt water is very healing to the mouth Anyways with or without the salt water, the mouth is a very healing place and it will be gone in a day or two. Health Question & Answer
If no teeth are loose and the lip is intact with no complete hole in through it, then just give him baby Tylenol. You might get a wash cloth and stick an ice cube in it for him to put on the sore to make it feel better.Health Question & Answer

have him eat some mr freezes or popsicles (there are sugar free our there also) so it is nice and cool but there isn't really anyone can do I would suggest you just keep an eye on it and it will heal on its own...Health Question & Answer
