5y.o. new tooth, yellow stain?!

Question: 5y.o. new tooth, yellow stain.?
My 5 y.o. is just getting her new lower front tooth in. Last night when saying good night I noticed it looked like she had some food stuck between her tooth and her gum. Thought was weird b/c we just brushed, but thought b/c it is kinda hanging back (in the straight row of her baby teeth) maybe I didnt get good enough.? So, this morning it's still there, and looks exactly like bread or something stuck between her gum and her tooth and we brush the heck out of it. Its not budging. So, I take a blunt bobby pin to try to move it out - and realize its not food, but a noticeable stain on her tooth. Its only like a couple millimeters exposed (her tooth) and it is the oddest yellow color. I know babies can get cavaties on their teeth (obviously) and can even be born w/ cavaities on teeth not yet even grown in...(happened to my neighbor), but on adult teeth.? I am also aware of people having tetracycline stains, ect - but have never taken anything like it while carrying her. Her dental appt isnt until next mo, and I know I can ask then, but I am really hoping for a good answer here...
