So when i got my braces the dude said that it can adjust the jaw line and cheek bone.

Yes,it can.I haven't noticed a BIG change in my face shape,but...ever since i've had braces and got my teeth straight,my jawline got nicer.I mean,it wasn't bad,but it got more....symmetrical than it was already.But,like i said,it wasn't a big change,because i didn't have a big problem with ym teeth,i only had a slight overbite and gaps.But the little change is welcome,now my lower half of the face is a bit narrower and it looks even more sexy,especially that i've got high,well defined cheekbones.
Don't worry,everything's for the better.You'll see how happy you'll be when you'll have straight teeth,everything gets better then! Even the chewing and everything! It's worth it.:)Health Question & Answer

The braces on your teeth can adjust those areas of your face. Braces are often used to correct overbites, etc. It will be gradual and won't be painful - the most pain will come from the tightening of the braces and you'll have some aches in your teeth/jaws.
