Top tooth extraction?!

Question: Top tooth extraction.?
Just a few post-extraction questions, how long does it usually bleed for, how can I help it clot, what can I eat and drink, when does the freezing wear off.?

And also, do you think it's safe for me to go to a dance class almost exactly 24 hours after an extraction.? Health Question & Answer

The dentist has always told me to keep the gauze bit down tight for 30 minutes and normally by then it has stopped. Don't mess with it, don't rinse your mouth out or spit and keep your head elevated. Don't drink out of a straw. You can drink water or juice but nothing carbonated. You can eat some soup or mashed potatoes or yogurt with out chunks of fruit. You will probably be okay to go to dance class tomorrow. Just see how you are feeling. I have gone to work the next day with no problems.Health Question & Answer

I got two of my teeth taken out earlier in san francisco, but I didn't know that my tooth wa going to extracted. The dentist just said, Oh we really should take these out," and she numbed me... It really didn't hurt... You can just feel the pressure she is putting while pulling and twisting your teeth, but I wasn't in pain at all....

She gave me a gauze to put it between my teeth and It didn't bleed for a long time... I kept it in for like twenty minutes while my sister is getting her cleaning and she told me I can take it out....

After that I ate regular food and it didn't hurt... (Mac n' Cheese)

I don't know about the question about When the freezing wears off...

also before I went to the dentist, I had one shot, because I didn't complete the vaccinations needed for school and after i went to the dentist, I played tennis for 2 hours and it didn't bother me at all...
