Question: Anyone else had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out all at once.? -Surgery is Friday..?
I'm not too concerned about the surgery. I know I'll be in pain, but I think I can handle is. I just wanted to know if anyone else had some tip or pointers to give me to do after and before the surgery, besides like ice packs and Tylenol. Thanks :) Health Question & Answer

I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled plus 4 other teeth to make room for braces. I am not going to lie to you but when the numbing medicine wears off it will hurt but the next couple of days will be unbearable. They do give you good pain medication. The 2nd or maybe 3rd day your jaw starts to lock up especially if you do not follow their instructions. If you are going to drink do not use a straw because you could get a dry socket. My advice is load up on the ice cream and just stick to soft foodsHealth Question & Answer
unfortunatly yes it was one of the most painful experiences of my life for a day afterwards my gums bled non stop im sorry u have to hav the surgery i hope i havnt scared u too much im just telling it as it is. dont worry i had my braces put in afterwards and now my teeth look brilliant its all orth it in the endHealth Question & Answer
I got mine out on friday and i am in some pain right now but i hear it hurts a lot on the 3,4,5 day. But it will hurt a lot to swallow anything i found a good smoothly DONT DRINK WITH A STRAW is the easiest to drink. Health Question & Answer
I had them all taken out. Don't use a straw/smoke. really only have things that you can drink for the first few days because you probably won't be able your mouth wide enough to use a spoon. You'll be ok!Health Question & Answer
