I just had mine pulled out 2 days ago, those who had them pulled out before describe the pain because mine feels weird it feels like the tooth next to the one that was pulled that is hurting, or a combination of both the empty socket and the tooth next to it.Health Question & Answer

its normal to feel pain in the nearby tooth beside the extraction site. I don't think the dentist would be so careless to damage other teeth. My dentist had to extract a burried wisdom tooth, which was so huge he had to slice it 3 times before extracting.... I went travelling 4 days later. Yes, the pain would come and go, but like you said, some pills work wonders :)Health Question & Answer

That sounds pretty normal. I got mine pulled last summer and i had to watch this video about it before going in and it said that the pain might feel like pulsing in and around the area. Which it did.
it should go away after a while but if it doesn't, ask your dentist, because there could be remnants of the tooth under your gum. But it's too soon to tell if you just go them out.Health Question & Answer

just observe for days, tooth extraction is really painful, that's why some dentists prescribe pain killers like mefenamic acid.
