Answers:
Yes, it is normal.

1. When you have a tooth taken out of the socket, that behaves just like a cup when you pour something into it.

2. The healing takes place from bottom up.

3. The layers gradually build up from bottom.

4. It is called "Healing by Secondary Intention."

5. Therefore, you will feel the holes for the longest.

6. The top most layer will form at the end.

7. So, in this case your feeling the holes is NORMAL.

8. If food gets caught, just rinse out as much as possible.

9. Don't disturb the wound.

10. Whatever remains inside after rinsing will get pushed out anyway.

Relax..........it is healing fine :)Health Question & Answer

Yeah its perfectly normal to have the holes for a long time. I had mine done like almost 2 years ago now & still I have my holes. Not near as big but they dont ever totally go away really. They are strange sometimes they will feel like they are covering up & then later they will be deep again. Its just the way they are.Health Question & Answer

You should call your oral surgeon immediately. A friend of mine got an infection from having her wisdom teeth out and it was so very painful. You don't want this to happen to you. Call your Dr and get it checked out soon! I hope its all ok :)Health Question & Answer

It's normal. I got my wisdom teeth out in November, and I had holes for a while.

Don't use a toothpick anymore, as you know since you started bleeding. Just rinse or brush your teeth, being gentle in the back.Health Question & Answer

I don't know but you would really
be useful for my question because you just
got your wisdom teeth pulled out

yeah its normal.
theyll eventually close on their own but your dentist should have discussed this with you already.
if food gets stuck your supposed to rinse it out with warm water that you shoot out with like this syringe.Health Question & Answer

Call the dentist/oral surgeon that took them out and ask him. Any creditable medical professional will answer any post-op/procedure type questions if you just call them and for no charge. Health Question & Answer
