How long after the xrays and mouth molds does the orthodontist put the spacers on?!

Question: How long after the xrays and mouth molds does the orthodontist put the spacers on.?
The xrays and molds are being done next Thursday and the orthodontist said he will be doing a mouth study (I am not a 100% that is exactly what he called it). How soon after that will they be placing the spacers and then the actual braces.? Thanks:)Health Question & Answer

I got my spacers the Thursday after last, once they do all the X-rays and stuff for your first visit, you'll have to return in about a week to get those spacers. They take some molds of your teeth, the first is wax and is alright. But, then you get some really bad tasting putty on your top and bottom teeth, it is horrible. Then, after that they put spacers in between your teeth, they are little blue rubber bands that go in the places between your teeth. They'll hurt bad that day and the day after but the pain will subside. You'll wear them for 1-2 weeks and then come back to get your braces. I recommend advil liqui-gels for the pain. When you eat try to eat soft foods, I've been eating banana bread, yogurt, stuff like that. I'm getting my braces on this Thursday. If you don't know what colors you want, use this link: <>.http://www.pbhs.com/ortho/braces/braces.... It really helps. I suggest choosing your two favorite colors and getting them in a pattern. You get to change your colors every month when you get your braces tightened, so don't worry. It will hurt when they get tightened to. I also recommend for cleaning your teeth with the braces in, a Waterpik. They make ones with orthodontic tips which are ideal for braces. Well, I hope answered all your questions, if not just email me. My email adress is <r_wilson95@yahoo.com>. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
