I would recommend that your floss first, flossing removes the plaque between your teeth, then brush, the bristles then can reach further between the teeth, then rinsing with mouthwash like listerine. It does 2 things it washes away all of the loose debris and kills the germs that cause plaque. also this routine should be done 2 times a dayHealth Question & Answer

i brush first, then floss (to get what the toothbrush didnt get) then rinse my mouth with some mouth wash (to get rid of anything that the floss got out but left behind somewhere in my mouth). i think that makes sense... to me at least hehehe

oh and dont forget to brush/scrape your tongue with a toothbrush or a special tongue scraper (after you brush your teeth) as the tongue collects so much plaque!Health Question & Answer
