Could rinsing with listerine antibacterial mouthwash too often cause a bonded tooth to wear down?!

Question: Could rinsing with listerine antibacterial mouthwash too often cause a bonded tooth to wear down.?
I had a chipped front tooth so the dentist built it back up and it looks and feels normal now. However, a week ago I got a "wound" in the mouth and was told to rinse with antibacterial listerine after everything I put in my mouth.
Now a week later, I can feel the "cement" or "bonding" on the back of the tooth and i'm afraid the listerine is breaking it down.
Is this plausible.? What should I do.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
no never heard of it. your bonding is loose but not because of listerine. call your dentist for an evaluation. If you call sooner than later, they'll most likely replace for free.
