Question: Need some tips with oral piercings..?
I've heard that there's some risk when kissin n u have oral piercings of gettin infected by blood infections like HIV and hypatitis, if the person u 're kissin has the infection n has an oral bleeding. Is the risk still the same when ur piercing has healed.? I'm thinkin bout gettin a lip piercings but i'd better be safe than sorry.Health Question & Answer

There are going to be risks with any piercing. Yes, you can contract HIV and hepatitis through an open piercing. After it's healed, it's not as likely, but it will take time to heal.
