Invisalign candidate?!

Question: Invisalign candidate.?
I was wondering if I was a candidate for invisalign, of course I'll ask my dentist too, but I just wanted some quick answers.

-my teeth are pretty straight, but the two front teeth are out slightly compared to the others.

-my bottom teeth are SLIGHTLY, hardly noticeable, but crooked.

How would I go about doing this.? Is there an 'invisalign' office.? or do I ask a dentist.? or an orthodontist.?Health Question & Answer

CALI,
your case seems to be ideal for INVISALIGN but only a dentist or orthodontist CERTIFIED can determine this,Health Question & Answer

ask your dentist if he /she offers the product. not all do; they have to complete special training beyond their regular scope. there is also a generic version of invisalign available; it produces the same results and is considerably cheaper. if it is a minor issue, it can be corrected with the system but insurance does not cover it, as it is seen as a cosmetic correction (which bulky braces would traditionally fix). more people than not do have crooked bottom teeth, usually the result of crowding when adult molars and wisdom teeth grow in. if it is that troublesome to you, then there is no harm in going for it. i was dating a dentist for awhile and had mentioned the same issue and he told me i was nuts. :)Health Question & Answer

You would see an orthodontist. Not all orthodontists offer invisalign, but more and more do these days. You can ask your dentist to refer you to whomever they recommend, or you can look up orthodontists in the phone book or online. Most offer free consultations, but you could also ask over the phone if they offer invisalign.
It sounds like you are a good candidate for invisalign. For more complicated cases, they prefer traditional braces. If there's not much to be fixed, just cosmetic fixes, they should have no problem. Keep in mind that invisalign is more costly than traditional wire and bracket braces though.Health Question & Answer
