Question: Do you fear visiting the dentist.?
I hate it since I was a little kid. I have to take 1/2 a XanaX to control the anxiety. My dentist is a sweet and extremely good pro....but still I feel so vulnerable lying there with my mouth open.Health Question & Answer

Yes...now I do. I've had two horrible experiences in the last 5 years. Prior to that, a visit to the dentist never bothered me, and I couldn't understand why some people had this fear.Health Question & Answer

im not afried but i used to be when i was like 6 to 11 or sumthing don't know y just tat everytime i went to a dentist he cleaned my mouth but at tuh same time he put sumthing in my mouth tat made it hurt then he didn't want me to swallow for like 3 minutes but i had too Health Question & Answer

When I was 11 or 12, I had a dentist threaten to stick a needle through my hand, because he had hurt me the previous visit, and I didn't want to get hurt again..

I was never very scared of the dentist as much as i was scared of the needles from getting my cavities fixed. I HATE how huge it looks, it's scary. But I do understand what you mean, I don't enjoy visiting the dentist either but i'm not deathly scared of it either.Health Question & Answer
No personally I am not scared of my dentist. I do know several kids including my siblings that are though. I think most kids are scared just because they wonder what the dentist is going to do with all those freaky tools.Health Question & Answer
