Question: Dry socket so bad Im about to kill myself..?
Im not kidding, don't tell me to see the dentist because honest to GOD I can not even make it through the night I want to jump off the balcony I have taken 2 alieve, 2 bayer, a tylenol 500 and antibiotics in the past hour and I swear to God I want to die from the pain.

My densit gave me Percocet for a week and it helped immensely! I had a bad wisdom tooth pulled, required stitches, not from an oral surgeon because I couldn't afford it. I'm telling you that was some pain. Without the meds, I would have died. Put it will get better. He also prescribed me antibiotics to help it heal faster. Call the dentist, that's what they are there for (to help and give you things to make it feel better).Health Question & Answer
You will make it through the night, it is just going to be very painful. You have tried several remedies with no relief. Unless you can find yourself a pain pill with codeine, you pretty much have to wait until you can go see your dentist. Are the dry sockets the result of post oral surgery.? I'm sorry, but the only thing I can think of is that cloves on the sore tooth can take away the pain (or clove oil). Not too sure that would be a good idea with dry socket though. I know it doesn't help, but you certainly have my sympathy. Tooth and gum pain really sucks.Health Question & Answer

a dry socket is exposed bare bone in your mouth and painkillers won't take away the pain.
Only covering the bare bone with a DRESSING from your dentist will soothe this pain. Regular visits for this dressing is needed to resolve this condition.

I know how you are feeling but the only way you are going to get proper pain relief is to have the socket packed where the dentist puts a special cream and plug in the socket and the pain will go away immediately the dentist can fix a dry sockets cost is between 15 to 20 dollars only and it does not hurt you will be so relievedHealth Question & Answer
