A dentist can minimize the pain of the injection by use of a topical spray or by massaging the injection site. Tell the the dentist you are scared. They are sensitive to that. Pain.? 0 to 3 on the 1-10 scale. Let me also suggest that you close your eyes and do not watch as you receive the injection. Thinking about it makes it worse.
