Question: Can bc/bs deny my sons dental claim.?
My son had a crown put on his tooth a couple days after he was put on my husbands insurance...My son was on my insurance and i started a new job so therefore i changed to my husbands insurance, but there was NO lapse in coverage...mine insurance ended oct 1st and my husbands started oct 1st.?.?.?.?plz someone tell me whether or not i owe this.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

The waiting period does apply, because you switch insurance companies and even if you did not switch companies you switched primaries meaning it was 2 different policies, Im sorry but if there was a waiting period you owe the moneyHealth Question & Answer
I don't think anyone here can honestly answer this without knowing if your husband's insurance actually covers crowns.
Certainly if the claim is being denied, they are stating a reason (lapse in coverage, pre-existing condition, no pre-authorization, etc).
