Can a dentist tell if you are a casual smoker quitting?!
Question: Can a dentist tell if you are a casual smoker quitting.?
I have been smoking an occasional cigarette or two for about 6 months now. I am not a chain smoker by any means. I just smoke at parties and whenever they are around. Maybe 30 my whole life. I am done with smoking, but i have a dentist appointment in two weeks. I was wondering if the dentist will be able to tell if I have smoked in the past when it was extremely sparse.? Will the very little damage that has been done to my teeth be visible.? I brush my teeth after i smoked and floss regularly.Health Question & Answer

No way. Not with that little smoking. As long as you don't smell like smoke and have smoker stains on your teeth which I don't see possibly with your described oral hygiene.
I have never smoked and don't advocate it, but you are in the clear.Health Question & Answer
