How should i tell my orthodontist that some of my teeth are not straight?!

Question: How should i tell my orthodontist that some of my teeth are not straight.?
i have had my braces for almost two years now and my teeth are still terrible. he told me today that i was getting my braces off in two months, when i found this out i was really upset. one tooth is overlapping another tooth and i have small gaps. i know i am not an orthodontist, but the mistakes are highly visible. i dont know what to say to him. but my parents did not pay thousands of dollars of braces for bad teeth! if you have an suggestions, they would be highly appreciated. thank you in advance. oh and don't tell me that he is going to fix these problems, because he is known for not fixing these kinds of mistakes. However, i am a very opinionated person and i am not that afraid to speak my mind. :]Health Question & Answer

tell him exactly how you feel and what you think. Its YOUR money that has paid for these braces over these years and I know it wasnt cheap. I, myself, just got braces in May and if I am not happy with anything, I make sure my ortho knows. You are the customer, you are his boss in the situation, make sure you get what you want. If he doesnt want to do that, seek legal help if necessary, but I dont think you should have to go this far.Health Question & Answer

tell him like u told us and remind him that if he doesn't do the job right u will get a lawyer and sue his sorry a$$. get your parents to back u up after all it was their money. then call the bbb (better business bureau) and get a form so u can write a formal complaint. then if anyone wants a dentist and checks with the bbb they will know he doesn't do a good job. if he doesn't want bad publicity and to lose a lot of money then he will fix them. the right way. good luckHealth Question & Answer

Make sure you tell him, and tell him firmly. My orthodontist didn't fix mine either, I'm just hoping I'll be able to afford braces again.Health Question & Answer

haha well if your not afraid to speak your mind on your next checkup you should just ask him why your getting them off so soon and point out the teeth you think are still messed up.good luckk and i hope i helped :)Health Question & Answer

Your orthodontist works for YOU (or your parents). If you are not satisified, tell him straight out. Explain you had different expectations and would like your teeth to come closer to what had been discussed before treatment was started. Did he mention how there might be gaps or overlapping teeth.? Did he say it would be possible to get all of the teeth straight or what types of issues did he say you might run into while straightening your teeth.?

I am not happy yet with my results and I know debanding is coming up - so I'll be having a similar chit-chat!! Health Question & Answer
