its called galvanic shock. more than likely you have another filling above or below it and the fillings are rubbing together. it will go away after a while. if it doesnt you may need to go in for an adjustment.Health Question & Answer
It is normal for a filling to hurt on and off for a while, and it depends on how much work was done on the tooth,
