Why do i have more saliva than usual when i wear an expander?!
Question: Why do i have more saliva than usual when i wear an expander.?
well im not sure...i got my braces and expander yesterday at the same time and now i've been noticing i have more saliva than usual liek when i spit out when i brush my teeth i see like a long line of drool or saliva i mean....i have to keep on swallowing alot everyday and everytime i talk i spit at pppl...haha anyways yea...anyone know why. =]Health Question & Answer

because your mouth thinks that
that it is food, so it produces saliva
to help digest it, obviously it's not, so
if you just got it, the excess will stop soon,

That happened to me when I had braces & expanders. That will only happen for a week or so, then everything will return to normal.Health Question & Answer
