Can a dentist tell when a person starts smoking after only 3 weeks?!

Question: Can a dentist tell when a person starts smoking after only 3 weeks.?
Answers:
Probably not. Only if you smoke constantly. If they notice they probably smell it on you. I have patients that have smoked for years and they don't have stain because they have good hygiene habits.Health Question & Answer

Yes the dentist and hygienist will be able to tell. Because cigarettes/cigars make a very noticeable DARK black/brown stain on the inside of your teeth along the gumline. They will be able to tell you smoke immediately when they look into your mouth!
Besides all the stuff you have heard about cancer from smoking let me share something else...

Have you ever noticed how smokers are always coughing and spitting all the time.? It is rather gross to be around smokers. The reason they are spitting and coughing is because the smoking is paralyzing little fibers in the throat called CILLIA.

Cillia are little hair like fibers that collect dust in the air we breathe. Then the dust travels to our digestive tract and well we poop out the dust. BUT in a smoker their cillias arent working and therefore they are INHALING smoke plus all the dust in the air. And that is going straight to their lungs and basically clogging their lungs, hence the coughing and spitting.

So stop smoking now before you kill off all the cillia. When the sunlight is coming into your room look into the sunlight and you will notice dust particles everywhere in the air! That is what we all breathe all the time, but smokers are taking it to their lungs and nonsmokers are getting rid of it from their bodies.Health Question & Answer

Yes! They can smell your breath!
