Any home remedies for a toothache?!

Question: Any home remedies for a toothache.?
I have a bad toothache and no Ambesol or Orajel to subside the pain.

It's a molar and it hurts because it's loose and probably just connected by a nerve. :(

Ive used Orajel before and it does not work at all so dont waste your money on it.
A warm saltwater rinse will only help for a few moments if the pain is constant.
What I do is rub some ice on the gums around the tooth, it will numb the pain and make it manageable.
Health Question & Answer

Topical gels will do little to help the pain cause it is coming from inside the tooth and deep under the tooth.

The best OTC medication for this is typically Ibuprofen which is Motrin or Advil. Take 600mg every 4-6 hours or so for max pain relief.

Get in and see a dentist. They can take out the nerve and put you out of pain immediately.Health Question & Answer
