im getting braces this tuesday and im really excited because i've wanted them since i was in second grade NO JOKE! and i was wondering can you eat sunflower seeds with braces cuz im a sunflower seed freak! i have at least one bag of BQ Sunflower seed a day.? and do they hurtHealth Question & Answer

Yeah, you can (probably) eat them. Your orthodontist will give you a list of foods you shouldn't eat. & yeah, they kinda hurt, but it's nothing major. When they get them tightened, it hurts a little worse, but it's just cause your teeth are shifting. Good luck!! X]Health Question & Answer
Bad news: braces hurt!!!! they will probably hurt when you first get them. After each appointment they should hurt less and less. Your orthodontist will give you a list of what you can't eat and how to take care of your braces. Health Question & Answer
