Generally brands of gum that use Xylitol as their sweetener are believed to be the best at cleaning and strengthening tooth enamel. However, I personally can pick up a funny after taste with Xylitol and so far nobody else I talk to can taste it, so maybe it's just me. I personally chew Orbit like it's my job.

I don't think it really matters what kind of gum you chew as long as it's sugar free. Chewing gum after a meal will help remove food particles from the mouth and promote saliva production which will also help keep your mouth clean.Health Question & Answer

Best tasting: trident

Best for teeth: orbit complete. Its specifically designed for this

However you may want to try smints. They are small mints designed for dental cleaning and they come in a variety of flavours.Health Question & Answer
