I had my widsom teeth pulled a few years ago. I missed 3 days of school because of it. :(
It takes a good month. I was sore for 4 days. To make sure I healed quick I gargled with warm salt water and I tried not to pick at my stitches. I felt my stitches though so I tried pulling them out with my tongue without even realizing it. They never came out, my dentist actually had to clip them out, and that was it. It took about a month for them to feel fully 'closed', I guess you'd say, but other then that it was ok. You stop hurting about 4 days to a week after it's done. My face was swollen for a while only because I reacted to the medicine badly. You'll be ok, really!
