Question: I got braces yesterday...?
Not only do I wanna kick puppies, I wanna throw them off a 15 story building and bar-be-que them. It hurts SOOOOO badly. I try pain relievers, and they help, but only for an hour. And I have to wait at least 4 hours between pills. Do you have any sudjetions.? Health Question & Answer

Hopefully, your orthodontist gave you wax to put on your braces to prevent the braces from rubbing against the inside of your mouth and lips. At first this can be very painful and can even cause bleeding. If you didn't get that, you should ask him for some.
Sometimes switching pain relievers helps, so if you take the maximum advil then four hours later, take tylenol and then switch back to advil again. also, I'd suggest ice as it always reduces any swelling you may be experiencing.
