What is an erupted tooth or molar?!


Question: What is an erupted tooth or molar.?
When i last went to the dentist she was telling her collegue things about my teeth ie all adult teeth (i am 14) and when she looked at my molars she said one of his molars are erupted...
i wondered what it meant and i am also slightly worried is there something wrong with my molar.?
