what does it feel like to have braces, when u first get them. and i know theres pain but i dont want to know what the pain feels like, i want to know what they feel like. like, describe what it feels like to have them in ur mouth..................Health Question & Answer

you have to get them tightened every 6-8 weeks after u get them tightened u dont feel anything until the next day they hurt a little
when u get braces for the first time they say spacers are the worst thing but there not thats my opinon they will cement the braces on and trust me u wont feel a thing but the cement is a sour taste kind of thing so if u like sour stuff ur lucky but then u will put the wire in and the next they will hurt a lot worst then spacers but they will stop hurting in about 2-3 daysHealth Question & Answer

When you first get them it huts ALOT it feels like someone cut your teeth then stringed by a bee in your gums. After a while it doesn't hurt that much. To have them in your mouth isn't that bad as time goes on you'll get used to the feeling that you have a cover over your teeth. Don't forget you have to get them tightened every month which doesn't hurt that much. Getten then off is the best feeling EVER

It will be sore. It feels like when you have something stuck between your teeth except all your teeth feel like that. It will go away in a few days but comes back when you periodically have them tighten. Other than that they are just a pain to keep clean and not walk around with food in them.

I remember when I had braces. :) The factor of hurting depends on the case of your teeth. It feels really funny at first and I couldn't eat anything that was hard. I needed soup or anything mushy. My teeth felt numb. But after a while, you forget you even have braces. A lot of people look cute with braces. :DHealth Question & Answer
