It doesn't actually "rot" their teeth. It is called erosion. The acid sort of eats away at the teeth. They get thinner and translucent looking. It usually happens to the upper front teeth on the inside surface. And yes, I suppose it could happen to a pregnant person throwing up a lot as well. This same erosion can happen to people that eat a lot of acidic things too like sucking on lemons. Make sure to neutralize the acid in the mouth by rinsing the mouth out with water after vomiting. Keep up good dental hygiene and you can use a fluoride rinse to protect them more. You can buy a brand called ACT for 3 bucks at walmart. Health Question & Answer
