Ive got inflammation of my gums at the same time as a really sore tounge. I have a dental appointment next week. I just wanted to know if gum disease causes a sore tongue.

I guess it can. However, if you bite your tounge a lot, this could be the soucre of it hurting too. also, you might have actual sores on your tounge. I hope you feel better, and rememver , always brush your gums too!!Health Question & Answer
