Question: Do you need to get the teeth removed that grow in (they are called wisdom or molar teeth i forgot which).?
Answers:
The wisdom teeth or 3rd molars are often removed because infection, decay, discomfort or too much crowding in the mouth. If all 4 of them have come in fine and you're able to clean them properly then keep them, but if it hurts to open your mouth to eat and you chew the sides of your cheek then you should definitely have them x-rayed by your dentist removal might be the best option. I have had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and feel so much better I couldn't open my mouth to eat and I was in extreme pain. Yes it does take a while for the holes to close up but if you can keep your mouth clean and rinse after every meal they will heal faster. As far as dentist making more money off of pulling teeth they would make far more money if they wanted to do a root canal and put a crown on the tooth . But in the end the choice is always that of the patients wheather or not to have any work done.Health Question & Answer

No you don't have to had it removed. Though wisdom tooth is located too far for normal brushing to reach, you just have to brush more attentive and use mouth wash to fight bacteria that you were not able to brush off. Most Dentist don't want to remove teeth, specially when it is not decaying or when it can still be saved.

If you feel that plaque is starting to build up on that area, just visit your dentist more often and have a prophylaxis. Unnecessary removal of teeth, and leaving as unfilled space (without denture or jacket), could lead to very uncomfortable pain latter, on the jaw. The jaw would sometimes lock and in severe cases you would need operation. Since the absence of a full bite, your jaw will compensate in chewing your food leading to jaw stress and then lock jaw.

You also would want spaces from missing teeth filled, because the rest of your teeth would sort off fill the gap on the row and start bending towards the gap as you age.Health Question & Answer

A LOT of people have to have their wisdom teeth removed. If there is not enough room along the jaw for the wisdom teeth to come out growing straight up, they tend to grow sideways, pushing into the molars which are next to them. For a person with a really small jaw, sometimes the molars have to go, also. Best just to have them removed and get it over with. It's not a very pleasant experience, not quite as much fun as going to an amusement park, but probably still rates above having a root canal. Isn't is a shame that the teeth you lose are called the wisdom teeth.? Health Question & Answer

Wisdom teeth. Tha answer is no.
Some dentists will remove them as a precaution when they get painful(......that just happens to make them lots of money).

I had mine removed and it took years for the holes to grow over and stop filling with food. Yuck.

My wife, was advised to have her's removed as they were a bit painful but a friend who is a dentist said she could wait and see.
She now has perfect wisdom teeth at zero cost !

I think they should be called Gold Digger teeth.Health Question & Answer

It depends on how crowded your mouth is... I have had two permanent molars removed and all 4 wisdom teeth removed because I have a very small mouth and really wide/square teeth. My mom on the other hand has all 4 of her wisdom teeth in and has no problems. It just depends on your mouth. Health Question & Answer

Just keep your teeth clean and dont worry about wisdom teeth unless you have a lot of glandular problems under the sides of your jaws,in that case see your doctor first,as it may just be an infection.Health Question & Answer

Depends on how yours come in, but I bet you do. Mine impacted and became infected-I had to have them surgically removed because I had a 104 degree(f) fever. It wasn't fun.Health Question & Answer
