Question: Are elastics supposed to be veery painful.?

hey, it definately will make ur teeth feel sore n very sensitive, this is very normal, mine were the same when i got my elastics on. It will go away after a few days, n ur teeth will get used to pressure of the elastics.Health Question & Answer
Well usually when you stretch your jaw (such as yawning or laughing or having a large smile), then you can snap your elastics and that hurts quite a lot. Some people feel pain from the elastics but others cannot even tell that they are there. It all depends on your pain tolerance and the shape your teeth are in.Health Question & Answer
