Just got two molars pulled...please open!?!
Question: Just got two molars pulled...please open!.?
I just got two molars pulled this morning.
one on the right bottom and one on the left bottom.
about 2 weeks ago i got 4 teeth pulled (two molars, and two baby teeth)...and the bleeding stopped then after 12 hours.
now that i only have two grown up molars pulled about 2 hours ago, my bleeding is pretty big.....
but its normal right.? and it will stop soon, right.?
also ive been switching the gauze every 30 minutes.
ive used about 3 or 4 of them.
if the gauze isnt working that well, i will try the moist tea bag.
but the bleeding alot is normal right.?.?.?

Answers:
Don't use the moist tea bag technique - it introduces things directly to the wound and that could slow the healing and clotting.
Roll up the gauze and bite down on it hard - not hard so it makes your jaw ache but a good amount of pressure. Do this for 15 MINUTES - NO less!! Seriously.
If the bleeding doesn't stop then seek medical help - you may need a few stiches just to pull the walls of the gum together and help it clot inside. Blood in saliva looks like a lot so you shouldn't worry too much but if it's flowing out the socket at a steady rate then you should go to the dentist as soon as possible.
Remember: Rolled up Gauze - 15 mins - no less!!Health Question & Answer
Yes it is normal. Remember that molars have deeper roots and really they are bigger teeth. If it continues to bleed and you are unsure, give your doctor a call and make sure. :) Health Question & Answer
