Cleaning teeth and braces..?!
Question: Cleaning teeth and braces...?
I have been recently reading about braces because I am getting them very soon (5th november) usually I brush my teeth in the morning and sometimes at night, but the few days every time I eat have the urge to clean my teeth and then i use mouth wash after.
is this normal or am I just being a freak. But its addictive i can't stop it. Health Question & Answer

well i have braces and i can tell you that at first you always want to clean them after every meal and every snack but then it gets old and you begin to brush them in the morning after breakfast and at night before bed. its jut the excitement of getting them on and before you get them on and after.
and no you're not being a freak you're just excited or nervous about having clean teeth with braces.
its not that hard actually as long as you floss and brush and do the mouth wash (not in that order)Health Question & Answer

You need to brush your teeth "three" times a day :)
especially when youre undergoing orthodontic treatment you are more prone to food debris entrapment under and over your braces(bkrackets and wires)
Its kinda more difficult but you'll get used to it. You have to brush, floss, and use interdental brush every after meals or your teeth will rot up. :) Good Smile to you!Health Question & Answer
