Answers:
the first couple of days with new braces are painful. Try taking a Tylenol to help. If there is still a lot of pain in a couple of days, call your orthodontist and tell them what is happening.

As for the cement, it will wear down some and when it is time to take it off they use a special drill type of instrument. They do not drill right into the tooth so don't panic. The reason for the cement on the back teeth is to stop the front teeth from coming together and breaking the brackets.

Just keep in mind "I will have beautiful teeth when this is all over with"

Wow!
Welcome to thee wonderful world of braces! It's really quite an interesting journey. After the [ insert time you will have your braces ] you have your braces, you won't even remember the pain and discomfort because your new teeth will be so straight and orderly!
But yes, it is normal to have much discomfort after getting on braces, with all that extra weight; your bite is different, and your teeth just feel plain goofy! The day I got mine, I just wanted to rip them out of my head. But after 2 days, you will be used to the difference in your bite. It may be longer, but if it remains uncomfortable for an extended period: See your orthodontist. There could just be a mistake. But you gotta give the guy credit, he looks in people's mouths for a living! Ha. The pain should only last a few days, depending on the condition of your teeth before braces. Mine only hurt for 4 days. But just a fore-warning: The pain gets worse before it gets better! So make sure you have plenty of ibuprofen and dental wax ready!
Well have fun, not quite. With your new braces! And, honestly the only thing you really should not eat is caramel. But all that other stuff that they tell you.? Ehh. You should be fine with!

Ha Ha. Good Luck.
