i just got one about a month ago. I recommend a warm salt bath. i mixed non idonized salt and warm water in a shot glass and stuck my lip in it. when it starts to heal white stuff will come out but its not puss its your body trying to close the wound. i also took a qtip and dipped it in the salt water and cleaned the around the piercing really well. it takes 3-10 days to heal. and take an anti inflammatory for the swelling. also swish with listorene. its pretty bad *** once it heals!!!Health Question & Answer
I agree with the above post for the most part, but DO NOT use Listerine- and as for salt, use ONLY sea salt. The 'white stuff' is sebum.
