Question: I'm getting multi-color braces....?
That a good idea.? I get them Tuesday. How long do they take to put on.?
I have a high tolerance for pain. Spacers DID NOT HURT, so will braces.?

Multicolor will attract attention to your mouth, but if you don't mind that then you will be okay :)
Braces hurt a lot but if you have high tolerance then you will be better off. :)
And I think that maybe you will be in quite a bit of pain, if you are thinking of doing the play audition take some pain killers before you go! :)Health Question & Answer

I had top & bottom. They told me I needed them for 3 years and I had them for 5! I won't lie, they did hurt. I remember when I got home it hurt to eat. The pain doesn't last long. Your teeth will have to get used to be pulled together. Just take tylenol extra strength or something. Since you said you have a high tolerance for pain, you should be fine.Health Question & Answer
take pain reliever before you go and make sure you eat the fun chewy hard stuff before you go cuz you are not eating them with braces mine were kinda painful at first but i have a partly fake front tooth and really sensitive teeth so i didn't hard stuff for what seemed like weeks but all my friends said it didn't hurt so maybe it was just meHealth Question & Answer

When I had my braces I always got multi-colored.. it cute. The only thing that is painful is when your braces cut the inside of your mouth and that usually only happens at the beginning because your gums and lips arent used to the metal. Braces are no biggie =]Health Question & Answer

I don't remember exactly how long mine took to get on.
The braces did not hurt until I got home from the orthodontist. I couldn't eat easily that day or the next. But it got better after that.Health Question & Answer

braces do hurt the SECOND day you have them and they hurt for a week.
brandings hurt when you get them on but only the back hurts.... the front part the braces dont hurt... bands and metel things that go to the back of your mouth and they hook to your braces..
and the banding it doesnt hurt. also it doesnt hurt when you get them tightend it actually feels good.. and bottom braces hurt the most
(for me) also if you have a mishapen tooth that wont fit the bad your tooth will bleed and it will hurt so badly.. i have braces and pink and black is cute ^^ also purple and black.. and dont get clear cuz it just looks silver.. :) hope this helps dont worry youll be fine! and dont be afraid to cry i did it just makes everything better if you dont hold anything in... trust me itll work out greatHealth Question & Answer
